THEKNEEJERKREACTION’s 100 Favourite Movies

We all have our…things, right?

Those passions and hobbies that, theoretically, keep us going (and sane) through this crazy world. Two of mine, as an astute observer of this blog might note, are writing and movies. To say that one didn’t influence the other, and vice versa, would be complete bullshit, as my love of the written word has forever been intertwined with the motion picture, and forever will be.

It’s on THAT note that, out of the blue, I opted to finally jot down a list of the films that have influenced me in some way in my near 5 decades on this ball of mud; be it blowing my mind when first seen or having maintained a lingering presence and influence over my pop culture consciousness to this day.

So, for that handful of casual readers who might give a passing shit about the content and influences behind this silly little blog project, I present the titles that have stirred my imagination and played a part in the creation of my own works of fiction. There are many others that could have easily been added, but once I hit 100 (it started at the Top 10, then 10, then…), the madness had to stop.
